Project description : E-learning course on the use of Copilot across Microsoft 365 applications, designed within the framework of the instructional design program at the Digital learning institute
Business name : Meridian Enterprise Group — a fictional consulting and professional learning organization in Montreal.
Problem : Employees underuse Microsoft Copilot due to limited prompt-writing skills, inconsistent workflow integration, and concerns about accuracy, security, and data privacy.
Objective : Enable employees to use Copilot confidently, efficiently, and responsibly across Microsoft 365 applications to increase productivity.
Target audience and constraints : Hybrid business professionals with varied AI experience, limited training time, mixed digital confidence, cognitive-load concerns, and accessibility needs.
Approach : A self-paced, six-module digital course combining short screencasts, guided practice, realistic scenarios, workplace assignments, and downloadable resources.
Key design decisions : Microlearning, progressive scaffolding, authentic workplace tasks, immediate feedback, accessible multimedia, flexible module selection, and emphasis on responsible AI use.
